LYLC Logistics Coordinator and co-author of Voces Sin Fronteras, Rosa, shared how support from @DiverseCityFund has impacted our youth movement started by youth of color for youth of color to empower recently arrived immigrant youth.

The LYLC has reached 1600 young people through 45 presentations in our city and beyond. LYLC has sold over 5000 books, and has raise nearly$55,000 that has and will and continue to go toward the LYLC Voces Sin Fronteras Scholarship Fund that will help many youth right in our city

The @FAFSA opens in 1 week (Oct 1). Last year @BallouDC had the most students submit on opening day. This year we are making it a contest! The school with the most submissions on Oct 1 will get #DCPSGoesToCollege FAFSA t-shirts for all students who submitted their FAFSA on Oct 1.
