Today marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. We honor the courage and sacrifice of the Greatest Generation who stormed Normandy.

In Carlisle, PA, my son Christopher’s Eagle Scout project Liberation Pointe stands as a tribute to these heroes — built in friendship with the late Ray Wallace, an 82nd Airborne D-Day veteran and POW.

It’s located at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (USAHEC) (950 Soldiers Drive, Carlisle, PA).

If you’re in the Carlisle area, stop by to honor the Greatest Generation and pay respects. Rest in peace, Mr. Wallace. 🇺🇸
