3 years ago, I became a bit nonplussed about politics.
I saw everything GEJ went through, the humiliation he faced on Twitter, and how people were too greedy to see beyond their noses.
Told myself I'll just concentrate on work, put my head down, "e no concern me."
But there's something about this new political dispensation. There's a shift that Peter Obi heralds. I sensed some hope, and something told me, just maybe it's not over for the future of this country.
That's why I came on X with this account end of last year, and did a full year subscription. Didn't know what will come out of it but I kept waiting until, you know naa.
VOTE Peter Obi for actual hope for your present or unborn kids. One can make deals in Abuja, send proposals for one's survival. But at the end of the day, it comes down to the collective.
100 million in my account around children who don't have food to eat isn't a risk worth taking.
Vote Peter Obi (@PeterObi) for President. We cannot watch and see the destruction of our lives and everything that we hold dear.
all of my optimism for nigeria hinges on the fact that we get our politics right eventually. all progress and shared prosperity is downstream of good governance.
but here we are in 2026. the same recurring themes of tribalism and bigotry. even from the young people who should know better.
life has a way of teaching you the same lessons until you learn by force. and if you still refuse to learn, then you will die a fool. the universe will show you no mercy.
if we cannot figure out how to accept each other, respect each other and work together in this contraption called Nigeria, then we are doomed to perish.
and quite frankly we lose the right to blame the government or anyone else but ourselves, since we obviously enjoy our suffering and are not ready to grow up.
@paystack it's been almost a month now,and my kyc is still pending... what of kind of trash kyc system do you guy's have in place, e be like nah to dump unah platform
Hi Honorable Minister @bosuntijani,
My team team actually built an AddressAPI for Nigeria that we thought of launching soon.
This AddressAPI addresses the address complications of Nigeria, it serves as an AI model that is built on geocoding API, Google Address API, Claude API and postGIS and FAISS.
If there’s anyway we can work with your ministry based on the new postcode project, we are ready to present what we’ve built.
When your mind is given a definite destination, it becomes a magnet for the resources, the people, the ideas, and the opportunities necessary to achieve it.
In 2011, after the disappointment of failing to secure sponsorship for my art exhibition, I gave my mind a definite destination:
One day, I will build my own company.
A company that would fund my art exhibitions, buy my art materials, support other artists, and contribute to art organisations and creative dreams.
I didn't have the money then.
I didn't know exactly how it would happen.
But I had a clear picture of what I wanted to create.
And I held on to that picture.
Years later, that dream became my reality. 🙏🏿
Today, the company I once saw only in my imagination helps fund my art, supports artists, sponsors creative initiatives, and gives me the opportunity to help other people pursue their dreams.
That rejection in 2011 didn't stop me.
It gave my mind a destination.
Never underestimate the power of giving your mind a clear picture of where you want your life to go.
You may not have the resources today.
You may not know the people yet.
You may not even know how it will happen.
But first, give your mind a destination. Then keep moving towards it. ❤️🔥

On the trending topic about a certain apostle and a social media influencer.
I have seen the videos and read many people's opinions about it.
What I keep asking myself is this:
What kind of society are we building?
One where young people are primarily taught to expect supernatural intervention, or one where faith can exist alongside the discipline of learning, experimenting, manufacturing and solving problems?
Prayer can give people hope.
But hope still needs engineers.
Hope needs scientists.
Hope needs entrepreneurs.
Hope needs functioning schools.
Hope needs electricity.
Hope needs factories.
Hope needs accountable institutions.
And perhaps, that is the lesson for Nigeria.
Let the churches pray.
Let the mosques pray.
But after praying, let the laboratories research, let the workshops fabricate, let the factories produce, let businesses innovate, and let government actually govern.
A nation does not have to choose between God and development.
But if spirituality becomes an excuse for failing to build the systems that make societies productive, poverty will not recognise how religious we are.
Prayer should inspire work, not replace it.
Many young creative minds have been killed by wrong doctrines from the pulpit.
And there is one thing that I suspect:
Many of these religious leaders have realized over the years that they had killed many people's dreams through their doctrines, but have silently repented and doing the right thing.
However, pride and ego will not make them openly admit to it and preach the right doctrine from their pulpit.
A nation that places religion over common sense is a nation that will always be backward or slow in development.
What you feed the mind constantly will eventually manifest in reality.
So much so that even when an individual has the potentials, he or she is discouraged because they're promised "paradise" after life.
So why bother?
But their religious leaders that have fired this furnace of illusions and supernatural beliefs have long stopped believing in it in silence, and living in paradise on earth.
AJD.
During my market research, I watched one video on YouTube that genuinely made me laugh.
This lady was sharing some really valuable information. And you could see the effort - she had clearly put SO MUCH WORK into the video.
She kept mentioning how much she was giving away for free and how she was different from the other people in her space.
Then I went into the comments and people were dragging her: “All these people, it is from our views they make money. Don’t watch their ads.” 😂😂
It reminded me of something I’ve noticed over and over again. That people see the world from their circumstances.
It is like when you throw a big party and put up a whole cow to roast.
Someone who is used to scarcity may look at it and think: “There must be something behind this. Why would anyone spend this much on us - be like him dey take our destiny?” - he can't do it, can't imagine doing it because of his circumstances - so he assumes if you are doing it then it is a trap.
The same thing happens when someone sees a superstar driving an expensive sports car.
They may immediately think: “What a waste of money.”
But someone else may see the same car and think:
“That person can afford it. Good for them.”
It even happens with everyday things.
A person who has always had to do everything themselves may look at someone who hires a cook or buys a washing machine and think: “Why waste money on that?”
Meanwhile, the other person may simply be thinking:
“This saves me time. I can use that time for something else productive.”
They live in the same world, with different circumstances - so they have different interpretations of the world.
And this is something I think business owners need to understand about their market.
Not everyone who needs your product is necessarily your ideal customer.
Some people are so used to scarcity that when they see abundance, they immediately become suspicious.
If you show them a big result, they think you're lying and then if you give them valuable information for free, they assume there's a trick somewhere.
If they see someone spending money, they assume the person is wasting it. Their circumstances have trained them to interpret the world that way.
This doesn't mean everyone struggling financially thinks like this. And it doesn't mean having money automatically makes someone better - but your customer's worldview matters.
So be intentional about who you build for.
There are people who have money, value their time, understand the value of convenience, and are willing to pay for things that solve problems. I spend a ton on books and courses, another person will think buying courses is enriching the course creators. Me i know it is, but i still get the information i want.
Winners and people who are doing well in life are often a very different customer to sell to. I recently spent a million on a mattress and my cook was shocked when i mentioned it, but i work so hard - and i love to come back and sleep like a baby so i can get to work the next day fresh as a dove. So to me it was an investment in my sleep quality, not a waste.
And yes, in my experience:
People with money generally pay better. And the right ones are often much easier to serve.
Despite the potential for insults, I'm moved to say this:
The superpowers are closely working together, both the ones u like & the ones u don't like
infact they are the world's biggest trading partners by volume...
But u remain a pawn in the greater scheme of things, believing u know it all on Geopolitics because of some YouTube docu-series, blabbing & insulting everyone that has a different ideology while exonerating those u should actually be blaming for our problems
Our land can be great, the people holding us back are within, furthermore, we are divided heavily via ethno-religious & political lines
This world works on the art of the deal
Sometimes, to move forward, u must do business with people u do not like, hard truth, but on good terms!
One funny guy said for Africa to progress, like 3 superpowers have to collapse, lol
Stay there waiting for a collapse for 200 years instead of looking inwards to fix the rot in our land
Your insults are welcome tho👍🏼
