@Trezor Carriers also use a significant amount of outsourcing in places like the Philippines and India where they make shit wages.

If any of those employees pull numbers from the breach list and find out you have an account at that carrier, they can easily sell your info to bad actors.

@Trezor One thing nobody ever mentions after these breaches which expose phone numbers is to call your mobile provider and make sure you have phone/porting locks in place.

Phishing emails can be avoided but carriers are notorious for allowing social engineering for SIM swaps.
