@Quags57 Actually it is - an Associate Member. It competes under IHSA rules, in a league with IHSA member schools, and individuals are listed in IHSA record book for single season/career records. They do NOT participate in IHSA playoffs however.

@JeffBarnes52 If you’re talking about parents…Well, it’s probably because coaches, AD’s, schools prohibit virtually all communication from parents to the coach during the season. If the principal at the school had the same rules for students, they would be fired by the end of the day. 🤦‍♂️

@TolentinoTeach Dad was a college prof/Mom kindergarten tchr… dad’s cousin taught 3rd grade for 30+ years - she did things the way she did thing because that’s the way she’s always done things.

I would NEVER let my kids within miles of her classroom. “Change” is a 4-letter word in education!!!
