If trainers can change outfits, I hope one day Pokemon can change outfits too. I already have my Charizard, I don't want another one just because it has goggles. I want to take goggles off of another charmander, and put it on mine.
For that matter, I should be able to feed mushrooms to my character so that he can dynamax so I don't have to catch a whole new one and abandon my original. For that matter, a concept in both the anime and the main series games is feeding max mushroom soup to your pokemon so that it can gigantamax. My Urshifu is one of my favorite Pokemon from this game. I've maxed its friendship and have been leveling it up. I need to be able to feed it max soup so it can gigantamax. My concern is that you guys will just release another one with gigantamax and continue to teach the terrible philosophy of abandonment.
I wonder what Pokemon region would be the best place for the "bonding" mechanic Ash uses with Greninja and Lucario. My thought is Johto. It isn't associated with any other gimmick, and being the introduction to the daycare and following Pokemon, it seems to be all about building relationships.
@PokemonGoApp Caught in 2023. Finally a mega! $0 spent. I still wish I could transfer back and forth between Home and Go. If Champions can do it, so should Go!
@soulsilverart I guess I also thought it would be cool if we could see the far distant past or future pokemon worlds through some portal in area zero. Maybe it will be in Legends Terra in like 15 years.
@soulsilverart I always thought it would be cool if certain pokemon that were terrastalized while having a certain terra type while in ground zero would evolve into paradox Pokemon.
@Elite_4_J A gigantimax form for Blaziken.
Also a z move, I was thinking "morning crow" and it's blaziken calling in a gigantic fireball like the sun. (Like how a rooster crows in the morning)
@skywarriorad@JoeMerrick And it turns out there's a fan made version of home called Pokémon Open Home that allows you to transfer between all your games.
It would be cool if they expanded the RPG mechanics for a more unique playthrough.
What if you could increase the power of a tackle attack to 60 or 70 by some kind of special training, but that applied to all moves. The same would be amazing with accuracy. With competitive battling in champions, we can actually take off the limits for single player gameplay.
We could have tech trees for moves, and we can teach our Pokemon more than 4 moves. What if there was a tech tree that started at tackle and as the move improved, it became giga impact? When you choose what move to use, tackle is just a move branch, if you want to go all out, then you choose giga impact.
This would give people the option for a more personalized playstyle. Non of that can happen if we're stuck in the vgc format.
Game Freak has confirmed in an interview that they expect that the classic turn-based battle system may disappear or heavily change in future main series Pokémon games, and created Pokémon Champions to preserve the classic gameplay moving forward.
