Bido is now processing real payments and taking a tiny service fee on each transaction 🪼
Everyone talks about agentic commerce, er just processed the part that matters:
money moving!
now there’s more 999,999,999 to go 🪼
Off Season II at @fdotinc last Friday: 100 teams, six weeks of building, most of them college-age.
I only made it to 10 booths...
— @runmirrors from @ai_singhal giving agents a safe place to break things before production
— @robonet_ from @autobrik + @alvax64 collecting robot training data without a robot
— @usebido from @pedro_nagamine + @bellujrb turning an Instagram photo into a shopable jacket
— Silica building actuators that ship with a data sheet describing their own defects
— Ender Technologies running electronic warfare simulation on a normal laptop
~100 teams at Fort Mason. I filmed 10.
The range was wild.

We’re making the whole internet one big marketplace 🪼
Here's our ship it week 6!
The plan was to launch a new product and start fundraising at the same time.
Not exactly the smartest timing, because everyone is destroyed, but it ended up being a strong week.
We launched the MCP inside ChatGPT, so now people can find basically any product just by sending a prompt and seeing the options directly there.
Fundraising also moved fast: we talked to almost 40 investors, got a lot of interest, and already have second meetings lined up for next week.
Next goal: get 1,000 new users across the ChatGPT and Claude MCPs, and close at least 100 purchases from there.

“Either we become a decacorn, or we break in two years.”
Here’s our Ship It Week 5 🪼
We want to turn the whole internet into one marketplace, letting people buy directly where they already spend time talking: ChatGPT, Claude, Instagram, WhatsApp, or any other interface
Our initial purchase rate was 1%, then we pretended to be the AI, and it jumped to 14%. Once the actual technology was implemented, it reached 15%
In the same week, we doubled users in half the time originally projected and grew GMV from 1,000 to nearly 10,000
Fewer tabs. Less friction. More intent turning into action
Now the plan is to accelerate!
Raise more capital than originally planned, with our first round already underway, four angels committed, and ongoing conversations with VCs
For the next week: scale and announce across Claude, ChatGPT, and Instagram.
As always, let's keep bidoing 💪
They offered us a whole bag of farofa, which we fell in love with at the Brazilian BBQ!! 🇧🇷🪼🫶🏻 @usebido
I loved it so much that I asked Pedro what it was called afterward lol
I really appreciate it. Love you, Brazil! 🥰
Ship It Week 4 update 🪼
We started with ads inside AI and planned to bring in around 400 users, but after talking to real customers, we realized something important: the people actually buying weren’t the ICP we had planned for.
So we shifted the experiment.
Instead of only testing the AI flow, we’re moving toward automatic purchases inside the app.
The early signal is way stronger: we went from ~1% conversion with the previous ICP to 14% by focusing on the AI part.
Next goal: see if that conversion holds, launch the automatic in-app purchase flow, and push from 700 customers to 1,500.
Let’s keep bidoing 💪
Bido 🤝 @SuperteamBR BBQ 🇧🇷🪼
A major event with Superteam Brasil for @fdotinc builders, surrounded by great founders and community!
Huge thank you to @SuperteamBR for making this happen
We're grateful for everyone who joined us! 🪼
Ship It Week 3 update 🪼
Another big pivot this week 👀
We moved from B2B to B2C and started monetizing AI as a distribution channel. This helped solve the supply problem we had and made testing way faster.
We launched 4 different verticals and got 172+ users plus our first 2 sales in 24 hours.
The best part: the sales already paid for the paid campaigns we ran.
Next step: cut what didn’t perform, double down on what did, and figure out which verticals can actually become profitable.
Let’s keep bidoing 💪
