@IanBegley@ChrisBHaynes@NBA_NewYork My guess is it was not an insult or anything racial like that. I’m sure Brunson here’s that all the time. My guess is it was something scary like the guy saying Brunson’a address out loud or a threat to his family
@JonHeyman People might actually read these articles if they weren’t behind a paywall. I mean how many people could possibly be paying for the Ny Post? What a joke
@OrganizationTao@jimmy_dore Is this the 1800s? Most people get their info from the internet. The people going to rallies are die hards that have already decided who they’re voting for.
@esaagar ER visiting are booming? Cuz of weed? This is like that rolling stone story that gunshot wounds weren’t being treated becuase of ivermectin. For someone as smart as you this is the dumbest take I’ve ever heard. Evidence please
@New_Tape_City I’m with you. This what happens when your coach thinks there’s no consequences for playing your players 45 min/game. Don’t think Knicks can beat Indy without him and def can’t beat any of the other teams left.
@BrightInsight6@IntellChaos So @BrightInsight6 I think your hypothesis could be correct if we assume the Norse people thought of Neanderthals as the jotnar or “giants” (the nephilim in the Bible) and the gods of Asgard as the ancient sapiens that eradicated the Neanderthals. Myths could just be history
@BrightInsight6@IntellChaos In Norse mythology we use the word giants as well to describe the race of beings that the gods are at war with. However the Norse people didn’t think of these giants as larger or big in size. It’s just a word westerners have ascribed to them.
@mtaibbi I don’t think social media is a good way to have debates & convos. With limited characters and lack of tone of voice it makes it easy for others to twist words and mix context. The point of SM is that you can get your work out to the world without corporate gatekeepers
@mtaibbi Matt you don’t need to engage with people on twitter unless you know them personally or professionally. Just post and ghost. It will keep you from looking petty and Twitter is not the avenue for these conversations. Let your amazing work stand on its own
@SabbySabs2 Why does the Israel lobby have so much power? How did this happen? All this stuff happening at universities and inside congress is showing who is really in control of our govt, and this is what they do when they are scared of their power slipping away.
As Biden proposes unprecedented new taxes, it’s worth asking: what do we get for all this money?
Secure borders? No
Safe streets? No
Excellent schools? No
Paying down the debt? No
Just endless wars and money for client regimes which kick back some of it to politicians’ kids.
@Ayaan Another very smart person not understanding the first amendment. You may hate these people for what they say, but they have the right to say it. If you want to change minds come up with a convincing argument. “You’re antisemitic” is not a good argument.
@lnTransit@lhfang I think @lhfang has done some very good and important reporting. This tweet from him though is just a typical I spend too much time on Twitter and rush to conclusions type of thing.
@mtracey What does this actually tell us? They all knew it would pass anyways, so my guess is this is just a smart strategic move to appear more likeable. That was certainly the case with @SenTedCruz if you listen to his reasons for voting no. It makes no sense
