In May, the CMY Junior Scholars Seminar in the Contemporary History of Europe in the World gathered 15 PhDs and post-docs from @CamHistory @LMU_Muenchen @yale_history in Munich to discuss recent conceptual developments. The scholars next convene in Cambridge in May 2025!

The @ContEuroHistory prize is a great opportunity for ECRs - aside from the winner, several other entries are published in the journal. A great team of editors and reviewers means expert feedback as well! #history #europe

🚨The CEH Prize 2024 is now open for submissions!

The winning article by a PhD or early-career researcher will be published in the journal, and the author will receive £400 worth of @CambridgeUP books. The deadline is 6 Sept 2024.

Small world problem but why oh why do books use endnotes + Harvard referencing system? Just forces step 1, go to end of book for note then step 2, flick to reference list for actual reference. Even harder if it is an ebook #bringbackthefootnote
