@Polkadot, the largest DAO in the world, has approved our proposal for ~730k USD (600k USDT & 30k DOT) to develop a production version of our Peer3 SDK.
This SDK enables smart contracts to run peer-to-peer directly between users in real-time with zero transaction fees, while maintaining the security of a distributed ledger.
From the academy to the world.
@peer3_to is proving Web3 can rival Web2 in scale and seamless UX.
They’re building Peer3 Poker to showcase it and an SDK to power real-time apps.

“Building isn’t the hard part. Getting a yes is.”
🎥 In Into the Blocks, @lukastanisic99 shares what it takes to keep going when nothing’s guaranteed, and why Polkadot’s the stack to pick if you’re here to stay, not just chase hype.
@peer3_to : The project that could make blockchain transactions instant and free.
A game-changing approach to Web3 that just secured $730,000 from Polkadot's treasury.
While others focus on scaling the chain, Peer3 moves execution off-chain entirely.

@consensus2025 kicks off in Toronto! 🇨🇦
Tomorrow morning, we’ll be both at the @Polkadot booth and the @scytaledigital × @fractlCMOs founders & investors brunch 💥
We’ll be cheering on 3 amazing PBA alumni pitching live as part of Fractl’s top 10 accelerator picks:
@peer3_to
@xcavateofficial
@KylixFinance
From the @AcademyPolkadot to now now pitching top VCs, we're proud of you and we can't wait to support you! 🎉
Shoutout to @rime_salmi & the @fractlCMOs/ @scytaledigital teams for making this happen and showcasing Polkadot builders. See you tomorrow!
we're so excited to announce the winners fractl' fundraising accelerator Polkadot edition, with our friends at scytale digital: 💗
congratulations to the winners 🥳
@Apillon, Atmos built on @AventusNetwork, @MandalaChain, @TVVIN_RWA, Zexifi built by @Team_Feooh, @mediledger, @hyperbridge, @hydration_net and @bitbaselart.
we will also have 3 earlier stage Polkadot ecosystem projects represented by @AcademyPolkadot which are: @peer3_to, @xcavateofficial, and @KylixFinance!
through fractl's Fundraising Accelerator each team receives:
1 on 1 onboarding with our marketing/investment relations team to perfect their pitch & pitch deck
Get matched 1-1 with interested investors from fractl's network
an opportunity to pitch live in Toronto at our curated Founders & Investors Brunch on May 14th
we’re helping these Polkadot projects meet real investors, and raise with confidence ✨

🏆 Throwback on the PBA Pitch & Mentor Final in Lucerne!🇨🇭
One week ago, students took the stage one last time to introduce their bold Web3 ideas after intense weeks of building and improving their pitch.
CONGRATS TO:
🥇 CoverMax
Premium-free DeFi insurance using protocol-level diversification. Congratulations to @sree_sana5835 for winning this Pitch & Mentor Award! (he’s now even offering a dev bounty to stress-test it… 👀)
🥈 Polkatax
A simple solution for crypto tax reporting because builders deserve better spreadsheets.
🥉 Lodestar
A keyless wallet designed for real people. Clean UX, smart recovery, no stress.
& every other team, you were great too!
👀SURPRISE
We also had a cameo of a PBA Hong Kong Alumnus, @peer3_to founder @lukastanisic99
He dropped a live hiring pitch of their bootstrapped solution for real-time p2p smart contracts, cutting costs and latency in web3 apps (now backed by a @Web3foundation grant and OpenGov funding)
We were so proud and happy to see him share their experience to our new cohort! 🤝
Big thanks to:
Our students, mentors, jury including @PolkaBiz, @MarioSchraepen, @Chris_Nift, @the_seraya, @DrW3RK@nachortti, @timadamd, @MartaPBA, the whole PBA team, and every other person who helped make this happen.

See you in the next episode? 👀
SURPRISE PITCH:@peer3_to just crashed the PBA pitching competition with their hiring pitch! 🤯 As a PBA HK alum, Luka bootstrapped his venture with a @Web3foundation grant before securing more funding via OpenGov. 💰
Today, they’re showcasing a quick demo of their progress: a solution for real-time p2p smart contracts, cutting costs and latency in web3 apps. ⚡️

Sure! So most solutions today in web3 are server side (dedicated app chains/rollups) and you're interacting with the "chain". Our approach is client side - users connected directly with one another and run everything between them, but they inherit security from the underlying blockchain. While everything runs between them, it's in real-time and 0 fees, but if someone deviates from the protocol (is byzantine) the protocol fallsback on-chain to enforce correctness and slash the byzantine peer. You need a blockchain to inherit security, since the economic security between peers is small and it's really easy (not expensive) to have a super majority of peers colluding, which would break any consensus algorithm. In the end you get a system that resembles real-life socio-economic structures, where most of our interactions as humans is peer-to-peer, but if things fail we go to a justice system to enforce agreements (the law). Read our blog post where we explain things in more detail - https://t.co/FaPQ1mBEpd
@hitchhooker@Kyrie_aiweb3@Polkadot Yep, we're on it! We're doing it peer-to-peer between clients with shared security inherited from a blockchain - mostly to improve on the UX, which is expected from a game (real-time and no tx fees). The ZK part is on the cryptographic shuffle, so you don't have a trusted dealer.
