It took 6 weeks and 4 g-tech staff to finally answer this. They need to show "lifetime" review number and default to showing most recent reviews.

@GoogleMyBiz The "support team" have been appalling and have not given the answer to my query. They give an answer to a question I did not ask. They will not answer the specific question as to why 85% of reviews (over 2200) have disappeared in the last few months
