I did it! I drew every day for a whole year! This sketchbook charts a year from lockdown to moving house to Covid at Christmas. I’m really pleased that I did it but I won’t be doing it again this year! #draw365#draw366#sketchbook#drawing#visualdiary#ayearinmylife
I haven’t been posting on here recently but I have done a drawing a day throughout August which I have done every year since 2013. Here’s what I did. 2 drawings to a page, pencil only. A visual diary. #drawing#drawingAugust#onesketchaday
@GWRHelp@networkrail we are stuck at Plymouth with no information. Got on at Bodmin, heading for Reading. Will I be able to get a connection to Gomshall?? Help!!
@GWRHelp Now stuck at Plymouth. Why??? No announcements.
What time can we expect to arrive at Reading? Will I be able to get a connecting train to Gomshall?
I think in view of recent events in the US I will probably be leaving Twitter. It’s a shame- it used to be a great community and I made lots of connections, especially through #drawingaugust. I’ll be on Instagram & on Threads but I think it’s time to step away from here.
@chrimw I completely understand. I’m leaning towards just taking a break from Twitter for a while. There’s definitely a problem with a person having too much money.
@davidparfittRI Yes, it just doesn’t feel the same any more. I remember the excitement of connecting with artists all over the world through drawing august but Elon Musk is so vile I don’t want to be associated with him.
I really enjoyed this year's #DrawingAugust. You never know where it will take you. Thank you for all the lovely feedback, and thanks to all the other artists sharing and inspiring through the month.
