Malleable Overview-Detail Interfaces at #CHI2025
How do we design malleable interfaces in the age of GenAI? How can we pull information instead of navigating to find it? How can we create our own abstractions of information?

My team will present a few papers and demos on LLM, UI composition, creativity support, and more at #UIST2023! Details on https://t.co/aMtJzSEx1U
Looking forward to learning and discussing exciting future research directions related to HCI & AI. See you in SF soon!
Why manage windows when you can manage content instead?
We demonstrate Masonview, a desktop environment that lets you do just that. Come try it out at the #UIST2023 demos!
Graphologue is now open-source - Learn more about inline annotations and how we built interactive diagrams in our GitHub repo https://t.co/XRz4O4JKH6. Also, check out the LIVE DEMO here at https://t.co/ogdHbR2hK5. See you at #UIST2023!
@TouristShaun Unfortunately, other models might not consistently produce good results. As you may have observed, even GPT-4 can make mistakes occasionally. However, we've added a notice about the cost to the page. Also feel free to try other endpoints locally!
@gaganghotra_ Hey thanks for letting us know! This is just a research prototype and contains bugs. If you spot any errors in the browser console, could you please copy them or snap a screenshot, and drop them in a new GitHub issue for our repo? Weโll try to fix them. Thanks!
Happy to share that autocomplete and hinter feature for @p5xjs web editor is live! - a PR I created in my senior year. You can preview function arguments and easily jump to p5.js documentation. Many thanks to @hellothisiscass, Rachel Lim, and @alfcnz for suggestions and support.
It was fun developing Graphologue with my advisor @haijunxia! Hopefully, youโll be excited about the design and technical details. Check out the paper, and reach out with any questions! โจ
Graphologue is ON ARXIV๐! The SECRET of the responsive diagram generation with slow #GPT4 is to #prompt it to embed diagram structures in its real-time text generation!
Check our paper to learn about the design details and prompts used in Graphologue! https://t.co/Q3JdCGm1lZ
Tired of logging and debugging like this?! Come to my talk #chi23 to discover how Log-it ๐ revolutionizes logging by integrating interactions, visuals, and more. w/ @HaijunXia@fuling_sun
