๐ฃ We're hiring at Open Science Tools! ๐ฃ
We're looking for a web developer (either full-stack or a back-end specialist, we're flexible).
We're a small, highly motivated team of scientists and developers, and we'd be great to work with, I swear!

I'm pretty much done here. I've been using bluesky lately and decided I prefer it. Hopefully see you over there. The @psychopy account will continue to post on X (๐คฎ) as well as bluesky for the sake of our users
I have to talk a lot. My work requires it, my kids require it. It takes a toll on my throat, which is mostly pretty hoarse
But I don't get it, how do rock singers cope? Did Bon Jovi and Springsteen have some trick that I need to learn? Or did they just have tougher throats?
Well, that was an interesting day. I got trapped in my office for an hour and a half by a broken lock! Was just before a meeting in-person with a colleague. I had to tell him, through the door, to go back to his office and met me virtually!
Heading to #ESCOP2023 โ
We're proud to be sponsors! That's us... Open Science Tools!
If you'de like to know more about the company that supports PsychoPy and how we work you can find out more here https://t.co/XXQjFhEEXd #OpenScience

I love these Singer sewing machines
I love that Singer didn't aim just to make something functional. Look at the efforts they went to to make it beautiful
But they also didn't just aim to make something pretty. This is something like 60 years old and works perfectly
The 1in5 project (https://t.co/x6XDgZKm7Z) has picked up momentum so we thought weโd put out a press release, https://t.co/Q6pgkJiQSV ๐งต(16 tweets) for quick reminder of the idea behind 1in5 and some quotes.

The School is delighted to announce the promotion of Dr Cragg, Dr Haselgrove, Dr Roach to Professor (with effect from August). Well done and very well deserved! ๐๐
My python dev friends, have you tried the @pdm_project dependency manager yet?
It's like poetry but better (IMHO):
- it uses the std depends field in pyproject
- it's depends resolution is fast
- it doesn't fail if you ask for Python>3.6; add scipy
Nice work @frostming90
