I couldn't believe this at first so I had to check myself.

The Dutch railway 🚂 company Nederlandse Spoorwegen billed the more than 100,000 Jews from the Netherlands for the train ride that took them from the Netherlands to the westerbrook concentration camp, and from there to Auschwitz.

The bill for 1,999.45 Dutch guilders is addressed to the German occupation authorities to be collected from looted Jewish property, specifically the Zentralstelle für jüdische Auswanderung in Amsterdam.

Last week the Netherlands announced a six-year prison term for anyone caught, even at the airport, with products made by Jews in Judea and Samaria.

This was in Amsterdam. All she said was "Free Palestine" at a pro-Israel rally. She was arrested within a second.

I have seen hundreds of videos of Palestinian protests being disrupted by pro-Israeli activists. Not once have I seen them be arrested for simply shouting a slogan.

What is it about these two words, "Free Palestine," that terrify so many in the West? The echo of complicity?
