@callmeMaharani Marriage: plummeting.
Birth rates: plummeting.
Good men dating: plummeting.
Single men happily living alone, enjoying their peace, quiet and money: rapidly increasing.
This doesn’t end well for your agenda. As men, we’ll happily sit back and patiently watch it dawn on you.
@KieranT1000 It’s not that. The value of your portfolio is too low for that to make a big enough difference. I would focus on growth for the next few years if I were you.
@rushicrypto It also showed everybody how much time we waste in an office making pointless small talk with people we dislike. It’s so much more enjoyable doing the washing, and tidying, before finishing the day with a clean house.
@DearS_o_n For me it was simple. Climbed to a solid mid-level position. Made myself difficult to replace. Guaranteed pay rises, remote working, choose my own shifts, and left to do the job without anyone questioning me. Work smarter not harder.
@amelia_tweetz The pandemic caused this. We’re only just beginning to recognise the scale of its impact. Many people still insist it wasn’t the cause because acknowledging it means confronting what they actually lived through. Denial is often easier. People have changed.
@JamieFinance25 The golden rule is to pay off debt first. Ignore the noise. Markets are volatile right now. If you want to get started, invest in a global index fund like VWRP, set up an automatic monthly contribution, and carry on focusing on the mortgage.
@MPelletierCIO Invest in the stock market. Pay into a good pension. Stop sacrificing your health for a workplace that doesn’t care about you. But live now, not just later. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, and neither is a retirement you’ll be fit enough to enjoy.
@IndexAndForget You can still enjoy a bit of risk, an ASIA or SEMI etf can get quite spicy. You will just sleep better knowing it will recover unlike an individual trade.
