We explored both the challenges and opportunities in cross-border Data Governance, preparing to navigate the intricate global data privacy landscape together.Transparency, unity, and innovation are our keys to success.

The NADPA - RAPDP member states today held their annual general meeting at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club in Nairobi Kenya at the back of the just concluded NADPA - RAPDP Conference. The AGM was chaired by the Board Chair, Mme Sanady Tchimaden of Niger.
The AGM brought together commissioners and representatives from 23 African member states and also those states aspiring to join the network. This presented an opportunity for the board to reflect on resolutions from the previous AGM, review the Networks Strategic Plan 2024 - 2026 and deliberate on new membership applications by the state of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The ODPC Nakuru Regional Office yesterday conducted data protection training to Bomet county staff.
Led by the Principal Data Protection Officer Godfrey Maruta, they later paid a courtesy call to the Bomet Deputy Governor, David Shadrack Rotich and the Bomet County Commissioner's Office.

As Kenya commemorates the National Tree planting Day, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner joined the @MoICTKenya led by Principal Secretary State Department For Broadcasting Prof. Edward Kisiangani in a tree planting exercise held in Kimondi Forest, Nandi County where 25,000 indigenous tree seedlings were planted.
Earlier, a team from ODPC accompanied @ekisiangani in paying a courtesy call to @Nandi029 Nandi Governor Stephen Arap Sang ahead of the tree planting session.
