@BrightonHoveCC 50% of respondents felt it would make the area safer
53% felt it would speed up bus journey times
56% felt it would keep traffic moving
How does this translate into broad support.
They might say - it would keep traffic moving, but still disagree because of the businesses etc.
@BrightonHoveCC Absolute rot. It will be a row of empty shops or vape shops, when all the other businesses suffer. The results of your "consultation" weren't exactly a ringing endorsement, but you did it anyway. What an anti business disgrace you are. Desperate for the fine revenue. Disgusting,
@BrightonHoveCC Why do you bother with a consultation. A red route on Western Road. All the businesses were opposed. A decision made by people who have never run a business, just put their hands out for a share of the revenue. Like Goodfellas - .... u, pay me. Disgusting.
@TravelodgeUK@321SaZ123@HearingDogs Very bad, Travelodge. I don't understand how your staff don't know about assistance dogs. Do you give then any basic training at all, or dont you bother. Guests are not your priority, profit is no doubt.
@SigneSol0@BenHaslamRacing A lot of the chest thumping "men" on here taking about whips and lefty snowflakes, would probably be fine with all those things.
The @BHAHorseracing blocking anyone who doesnt agree with their whitewash "investigation" of Townend and their hollow talk of animal welfare. All the blocking of dissent is probably why their posts have so little engagement.
@sian_henry@itvracing@BHAHorseracing Im not sure thats justification really, except for a total ban. Yes all animals hurt themselves but not while being forced over jumps, or whipped with broken backs across a finish line, and certainly not for enjoyment and spectator "sport"
@JamesMelville Just as well, considering he risks being whipped over the line with a broken back. He has also been so conditioned he would run with a broken mangled leg.
Its a cruel sport
@GlammySpurs@emilyhewertson Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, very wrong, wrong. Wrongly categorising people so you can dismiss their concerns & justify enjoying animal cruelty. You'd be surprised who many vote for and the jobs they hold down. Animal rights isnt a left/right political issue. Its a humanity issue
