I think it was a childish dig to gain attention.
I saw fans speculating that Ferran looked pissed off and didn't have a good game too on the day article came out.
While everyone took it as Ferran angry on S dropping their "private pic", there goes Ferran next day with a post saying "friends" when he mentioned his dogs are his children.

U have to accept that Ferran is part of an agency which is rubbish at handling PR.
His whole team thought this relation will make fans 1)Happy or 2)Jealous and then people would continue dissection of their pictures/stories and that will sell the "love story" without them needing to do anything.

However the WC has brought in new fans for Ferran many of whom might have earlier belonged to entertainment or pop fandoms.
Well these fans know how not to take anything at face value and can get information and use it analytically, considering this is a normal fandom behaviour in pop culture.

This is the part they never thought of (mind you they were happy with the new fans thinking it will make Ferran popular to pop fandoms) but now it's time to run helter-skelter. Absolutely in Ibiza they were in same villa (as proven by the "Bougainvillea flowers and the stone path"), them being in same party with thousands other party-goers and still Ferran was able to stare at her from away 😂
She went to both his away & home match(onecwhere his mum was there) - where fans absolutely recognised them and whole world knew about the dasing new couple.

Do u realize her visiting his matches gave 0 engagement coz no one recognised or cared about them enough and only the "accidental" story drop got people talking!!! And who said it's not real, every association has a purpose( a PR relation is built for a REAL purpose too).

I think it will continue as long as both sides gain something from this association and till the image of the clients( Ferran/ Sara) is not hurt by drama that gets pulled out.

So we will get lovely Christmas vacation pics,might be b'day celebration too. But long term sustainability is doubtful when they are at different stages of maturity(unless Ferran wants to be dad in next 1 year😶).

Flick is on very thin ice, but I won't ignore that he had turned out team as a beast from when he arrived.

However going into his 3rd year with full confidence from board,how did the brains not understand the gaps in squad
1) Ferran/Lewa left and we wasted 3 months running a telenovella for Alvarez when we weren't ready to shell out the money
2) Getting Adeyemi despite knowing about his inconsistent form
3) Gordon- Where's his shots,duels, I don't care if he scores hattrick against Alaves,show up in big games when u claim that our Midfielders gave better passes than your previous team.

Moreover we are treating our La Masia players as if they are disposable when these players bleed more Blaugrana than any coach from Bayern.

We talk about player mentality but how can we expect them to perform in matches when they don't have any respectable play-time to know each other well.
Resting Rodri against PSG but play against Alaves,no Gavi play-time in El Clásico or even Alaves.

Deco,Flick should be ready to answer the uncomfortable questions that are arising coz of their decisions about which players to bring in/let go.
