🚆🔥 ఒక రాత్రి… ఒక ట్రైన్… నలభై మందికి ఎదురు నిలిచిన ఒక మనిషి.

2010 సెప్టెంబర్ 2. Maurya Express పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ అడవుల మధ్య దూసుకుపోతుండగా అకస్మాత్తుగా భయం ట్రైన్‌లోకి ఎక్కింది.

దాదాపు 40 మంది దొంగలు కత్తులు, గొడ్డళ్లు, కర్రలతో కోచ్‌ల్లోకి దూసుకువచ్చి ప్రయాణికులను దోచుకోవడం ప్రారంభించారు. అరుపులు మార్మోగాయి. కుటుంబాలు వణికిపోయాయి.

కానీ ఆ రాత్రి కథ అక్కడితో ముగియలేదు.

అందులో ప్రయాణిస్తున్నాడు Bishnu Shrestha — 35 ఏళ్ల రిటైర్డ్ Gurkha Naik.

అతను ఎన్నో ప్రమాదాలు చూశాడు. కానీ ఒక దృశ్యం అతన్ని కదిలించింది — 18 ఏళ్ల అమ్మాయిని దొంగలు లాగుకుంటూ వెళ్లడం… ఆమె తల్లిదండ్రులు నిరాశగా చూస్తుండటం.

ఆ క్షణంలో సందేహం మాయం అయింది.

తన దగ్గర ఉన్న ఒక్క ఆయుధం — ఖుక్రీ.
మరియు అతని ధైర్యం.

అతను ఒక్కడే నలభై మందికి ఎదురు నిలిచాడు.

20 నిమిషాల పాటు జరిగిన భీకర పోరాటంలో ముగ్గురు దొంగలు మరణించారు, కనీసం ఎనిమిది మంది గాయపడ్డారు. మిగతావారు పారిపోయారు.

ఒక మనిషి.
నలభై మందికి ఎదురు.

తీవ్ర గాయాలతో ఉన్నప్పటికీ, బహుమతిగా ఇచ్చే డబ్బును ఆయన తిరస్కరించాడు.

అతని మాటలు —
“యుద్ధంలో శత్రువులతో పోరాడటం సైనికుడి విధి. ఆ రాత్రి నేను మానవుడిగా నా బాధ్యత నెరవేర్చాను.”

ఆ రాత్రి ఒక లెజెండ్ జన్మించాడు.
