Are we genuinely surprised that RTD of all people cannot admit that his and his decisions alone have put the show in this place.
If you had only written good TV, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
There were only few good episodes
Wild blue yonder, boom, story and the engine, dot and bubble, maybe that christmas special was ok
Whole era kinda sucked tbh
I have seen some pushback over my takes on the last few series of Doctor Who. i do wish I could look at it the way some people do but I found most of the episodes to be middling at best lol, i don't think the problems were only with the finale
You can tell he didn’t leave on good terms because he doesn’t say he enjoyed his time or thank the BBC or Bad Wolf. Just rambles on about how silly the fans are for expecting something they were informed was happening.
@Minecraft2sex Make it 2, every season or two, and u have my vote.
He is way better when he gets two episodes to expand. And it doesn't have to be every season, only when he actually had an idea.
@beeeeeeaan U can do an episode in style of the night of the doctor.
5 min webisode, 14 glitches through some faces, crashes somewhere, and regenerates properly
We see the new face in actual episode 1
RTD2 had it's moments but I'm definitely starting to think that they should've just rested the show after the Power of the Doctor.
RTD2 has done so much damage to not only the future of the show, but RTD1's legacy too.
In recent years , I have really came to appreciate moffat and capaldi ending their run with "doctor, I let you go"
Vs RTD and tenant ending theirs with "i don't want to go"
Says A LOT, honestly
PS: MOFFAT, PLEASE BE SMART, DON'T U DARE COME BACK. u said u r done, stick to that
Honestly I do think you can trace a lot of Doctor Who's current issues back to "I don't want to go."
The Doctor, especially 10, shouldn't be that upset about the most fundamental element of his own biology. And production wise, it's just resulted in lots of "fuck it, Tennant"
