When folks ask me what makes the Punk community so special, I always tell them about mornings like today when I got to join @iancr for a run and get invaluable business advice as we continue to build out Popset. You just don’t make these types of connections anywhere.

Some hot convictions, weakly held:

(1) I agree with @armaniferrante — the most “important” “chains” likely don’t yet exist

(2) The next step functions for crypto aren’t in engineering, education or financial design; they’re in legal, compliance, and risk => retrofitting new technology to meatspace without bloodshed

(3) Deep financial rails provided by companies are replaced by credibly neutral protocols, but not in the way you would think

(4) In the limit, blockchains become primarily useful for coordinating adversarial AI agents + humans to find meaning in connection via expressed opinions about time

(3) + (4) => force us to reconsider inherited definitions of companies, careers, and sovereign nations. The velocity (eg timeframe) of this monumental shift will be drastically underestimated.
