BREAKING: The House Rules Committee has cleared the NDAA for a floor vote tomorrow; with Section 219 still intact.
The provision would dramatically integrate the U.S. and Israeli militaries across weapons development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data sharing, and defense procurement.
Congress is now one vote closer to permanently binding America’s military infrastructure to another country’s.
Unfortunately the Rule passed just now and no debate or vote was allowed on section 219, integration of US military technology and supply chains with Israel’s.
The NDAA will receive a recorded vote tomorrow with section 219 in it. I’ll vote no.
Republicans are trying to pull a trick this week.
They say we are voting on an “insider trading” bill, but have snuck in massive SAVE Act-style voter suppression measures to it.
This is a GOP effort to sabotage national mail-in voting, disguised as a trading ban.
I’m voting NO
The House is scheduled to vote this week on a National Defense Authorization that would integrate our military tech & supply chains with Israel’s.
Today, the Rules Committee will decide whether my amendment to strip section 219 will get a vote.
RT to support the Massie amdt.!
McConnell. Is. Dead.
Grow a spine and appoint his replacement as your state Constitution demands.

Being raped is a life sentence which worsens our physical, mental & emotional health & is often life limiting due to suicide. Regardless his Huntington’s diagnosis, being spared jail (because it wouldn’t ‘cope’ with his illness) for a convicted rape (of a teenage girl!) is vile.
🚨This video is terrifying.
And it’s another example of how ICE is making everyone less safe.
At Las Vegas International Airport, two people, in plain clothes, are seen trying to handcuff a man.
The man is screaming for help.
When the person filming asks a TSA agent what is happening, the agent replies, “It’s law enforcement.”
But when the person filming walks over and starts recording the people claiming to be law enforcement, one of them tries to swat the phone away.
Then, as more people begin watching, they get up and leave.
The man is left with a handcuff still attached to one of his wrists. He is visibly shaken and says they stole his belongings.
Think about how dangerous this is.
The government is normalizing armed agents, in plain clothes, grabbing people in public, without immediately identifying themselves in a way bystanders can verify. That creates confusion, panic, and makes it impossible for ordinary people to know whether they’re witnessing a lawful arrest, or a kidnapping.
In this case, people intervened… They started asking questions, and filming.
If no one had stepped in, who knows what would have happened to that man.
A government that expects people to simply accept unidentified agents, taking someone away without question, is making every person in this country less safe.
Close to a year ago, I flagged that the White House had classified IUDs, birth control pills & hormonal implants as "abortifacient birth control." The news was buried six paragraphs into a NYT story—and wasn't mentioned in the headline or social promo
NEWS: Senate Democrats blocked a $1.15 trillion defense bill, saying they refuse to advance a massive Pentagon funding package after Trump launched the Iran war without congressional authorization. The procedural vote failed 50-46, short of the 60 votes needed.
Joe Kent, former acting director of the National Counterterrorism Center, urged Americans to call their senators and oppose the NDAA unless Section 219 is removed, warning that the provision would dangerously integrate U.S. and Israeli military technology. His warning follows Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy's interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who confirmed his plan to shift the relationship "from aid to partnership" through deeper defense integration. Section 219 would direct the Pentagon to designate an executive agent expanding cooperation across missile defense, AI, cybersecurity, and biotechnology, a level of integration critics say exceeds what any NATO ally receives from the United States.
Massie: I think what’s even more concerning is, in the NDAA, Section 219, which is going to start commingling our military supply chains and technology with Israel’s. It doesn’t make sense to do that with a country of 10 million people.
But they’ve got that in the NDAA. I’m told that’s not coming up this week, but we know it’s going to come up sometime—probably soon. So I’ve offered an amendment to strip Section 219—it was called Section 224—from that bill.
Tomorrow, the Senate will take a key vote on the $1.1 TRILLION defense bill.
It not only fails to rein in Trump’s Iran war, it also has a provision touted by PM Netanyahu to MANDATE more U.S. defense cooperation with Israel.
None of this is in our national security interests. I will vote NO.
Laura Dern honors Sam Neill as "my beloved lifetime friend" in a heartfelt tribute to her #JurassicPark co-star after his death:
“He showed me the depths of loyalty, protectiveness and love always with the driest of wit. He was a true and noble gentleman, wrapped up in my dream leading man. I will love you forever, Dr. Alan Grant.”

Shame on Trump, Miller, and Markwayne and every person in this country who thinks it is acceptable to terrorize children, to lock them up in cages, to separate them from the love of their communities and to deny them air, sun, play, laughter, joy and every single thing our little ones deserve.
Incarcerating children is an evil, morally bankrupt practice that calls into question any commitment our nation claims to have about their preciousness. We must demand that no children experience what Steven and the more than 3,800 children detained by ICE have endured.
We must Melt ICE and dismantle DHS. Anything less is unacceptable.
WOW -- Danish reporter *goes there* with Mark Rutte
"You sit next to Donald Trump at moments when he talks about conquering Greenland, talks about lashing out at allies like Spain -- things it doesn't seem like the old Mark Rutte would approve of. Does this have any affect on your self-respect when you sit there and say nothing?"
Did you know the department of energy deleted almost 6000 web pages on energy saving, all because they matched the advice Mamdani was giving in NYC?
It’s the world’s dumbest cult.
DHS cut this quote off one sentence early. Here’s how Roosevelt actually finished the thought, same speech, 1915:
“But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as any one else.”
He also said he wasn’t talking about naturalized citizens (“some of the very best Americans I have ever known”) and that “any discrimination against aliens is a wrong.”
Teddy Roosevelt’s descendants asked Congress to protect his legacy. Trump’s admin answered by perverting TR’s words to push their anti-immigrant agenda.
