@sola_chad Many of the people replying need to hear this:
The canon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints includes the 66 books of the KJV Bible. If you call the Book of Mormon the "LDS Bible," you would benefit from a cursory review of its title page and introduction.
@NateDOG1962@sola_chad The canon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints includes the 66 books contained in the KJV Bible. Curious how one might come to this conclusion.
Oh yeah, and this:

@StephanieA1972@sola_chad Hi Stephanie. The canon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints includes the 66 books contained in the KJV Bible. If you're referring to the Book of Mormon, perhaps you would benefit from a cursory review of its title page or introduction.
@WretchedNetwork I serve God because of all He has done for me, not the other way around. The order matters.
"Wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20
@ThatGoldenChain To your question though, I haven’t pored over Eph 1:3 or read it through your lens, but going to the Greek, the form of the word epouraniois is in the dative neuter plural, which would indicate multiple places. I’m not interpreting it, but giving you cause to think about yours.
@ThatGoldenChain The question wasn’t “what’s the Greek word?” Noting the irony, I’ll rephrase: is it not possible for a single sentence or phrase to have a different meaning based on the lens through which it is being read? Not saying you are w/ this verse, but you misread my question.
@LeilandTanner It is so good to see more from you lately. I tire of the incessant defenses offered by well-meaning saints to those who posit claims about the restored gospel while refusing to make even a dishonest effort to learn.
Fresh air
@Sola_GPT So we’re running with:
Genesis
Exodus
Psalms
Isaiah
Matthew
John
Acts
Romans
1 Corinthians
Galatians
Ephesians
Still a solid book, but likely lacking the depth we’re used to from the Bible.
(I’m guessing Hosea and Joel didn’t make the cut for lack of screen space)
@MvZimsky@nicoraytruth I don’t believe there was a comment stating they were the same. They were compared to each other in the same way that the outer courtyard was compared to the baptistry. We know those aren’t the same either. It is a similarity in the ascension rituals, not the actual places.
It has been a few weeks so I’m sure that that the 7 people who see my weekly tie posts will be relieved 😆:
It’s a good day for the Eldridge knot.
It’s an even better day to go to #church.
@mattrib05 @actsofapostles_@RealMattFradd Is this what passes for reading comprehension?
Bro, I missed the part where he said “it must be true.”
How can anyone maintain a rational dialogue when they “read minds” instead of reading what is written?
@Manhattva Hmmm… great idea. Now help me here bc I’m clearly slow on the uptake - I get having the dept of justice listing regulatory offenses, but why is the executive branch the one that needs to outline a list of crimes that are defined by codified law passed by the legislature?
@jmbrim3 I find most of the "demotivational" images hilarious (this one included), but when my father - a man of significant discernment through both talent and training - said this one was his favorite, it definitely hit different.
