@ANONBLADE1889 Good defender. Reads the game well and not scared of a challenge. What’s really let him down is silly errors, he’s been caught dawdling on the ball way too many times. If he can cut that out then he would be a very very good player.

If you think he’s not then surely questions need to be asked of players in forward positions wanting the ball enough? He clearly doesn’t lack the ability to find them. I’ve never thought Grimes was avoiding passes. Strange conclusion

A few times he moved up the pitch with the ball, into a congested midfield. It was always going to be a game where the flair players impact. They didn’t.
