Kicked off my plastics project yesterday and hoping to have something to share next month.

The main goals are to: (a) test a bunch of California food for various plastic chemicals and report the results, and (b) do a lit review of the field and assess how strong the evidence is that microplastics in the levels found in our food supply are actually bad for you.

We'll share our methodologies and findings transparently on https://t.co/VKK6lMLV0H so you can replicate what we do.

Stretch goal is to develop "lactaid for microplastics." That might take longer than this summer though. 🙃
