@jakebmcc@levelsio@floriandarroman I think it depends on where you are registered. UK Stripe account has to settle in GBP, there is no way of USD charges to settle in USD and payout in USD without conversion.
@patio11 maybe one that you can shed some light on: why do US bank account numbers seemingly not use Luhn check digits? Looking like I just lost $1600 via @Wise because I typed a 6 instead of a 7 at the end of an account number. Also no recipient name checks. Seems mad.
@patio11@Wise makes sense, everything does need to be invented.
raised it with my bank (in Thailand) 72 hours after realising the mistake, but they use a 3rd party to actually do the ACH, so they are unsure. looks like it was instantly sent to the wrong account complete with push notification
@dhh@jasonfried New Campfire customers incoming! FB/Meta's business chat that we've paid thousands of dollars for will cease to exist and everything will be deleted. Because reasons.
@jasonfried Hey Jason, do you remember which tool you used to make the "static" star graphic in this post? Such a great concept, would love to recreate it. https://t.co/y4jUcfSUYk
@Timb03 Gotcha. How about raise the base price keep add-ons where they are/slight bump?
Or add a new tier? Free/$19 (at +$4 just raise for everyone, very few will care)/$49
@Timb03 If you want to avoid drama with existing customers, you can always just grandfather them in on the old pricing.
Change the price for any new customers to $49/mo. Still incredible value at that price point, especially as you said you’re constantly adding new features.
@Timb03 $15 seems cheap for a business tool. Your pricing page says it’s for “social media agencies with multiple brands”. If that’s who your customers are, that’s a complete steal at $15. You could easily 2/3/4x that price.
