$ETH is aggressively pulling the whole market into a concentrated squeeze instead of spreading any relief.

At $2,732.72, the 200 DMA is rising firmly at $2,109.99 while the 20 DMA crossover at $2,612.63 keeps momentum aggressively skewed upward. The +29.51% distance from the 200 DMA and a 14-Day RSI of 65.7 sit at the 99th and 94th percentiles of the trailing 12 months.

This vertical momentum is a complete liquidity trap that starves altcoins rather than opening a rotation. Capital is funneling exclusively into the core asset while the rest of the board bleeds out against the pair.

Look at the attached chart. The RSI panel stays beneath the textbook 70 threshold yet presses hard against the top ceiling of its own normal 12-month range, showing extreme internal pressure.

Into this print I would rather accumulate high beta altcoins directly than chase spot here, and a drop back below the 20 DMA at $2,612.63 proves me entirely wrong.

Altcoin liquidity is dead until this surge cools off or breaks.

August 2026 PCE inflation figures came in significantly below expectations!

✔️Headline PCE MoM saw the largest deviation from consensus, printing at +0.3% compared to the forecasted +0.8% (prior: +0.2%).

✔️ Headline PCE YoY decelerated to +3.4%, coming in 0.3 percentage points below the +3.7% forecast (prior: +3.7%).

✔️Core PCE printed below consensus across both horizons, with MoM at +0.2% (forecast: +0.3%, prior: +0.2%) and YoY at +3.0% (forecast: +3.3%, prior: +3.3%).

✔️Historical YoY figures were revised downward in the 2026 National Economic Accounts annual update, driven by BEA methodology changes to price-versus-quantity splits in portfolio management, legal services, and computer software.

🚨🚨🚨 ARGENTINA VUELVE A EXPORTAR CARNE A JAPÓN DESPUÉS DE 20 AÑOS

🔹 Japón reabre su mercado para la carne bovina argentina, luego de que se acordaran los requisitos sanitarios para el ingreso desde la zona libre de aftosa con vacunación.

🔹 El anuncio fue realizado por Luis Caputo, quien calificó la apertura como “histórica” y destacó que el mercado japonés importa carne bovina por más de u$s3.000 millones anuales.

🔹 La negociación había sido iniciada en 2024 por el Gobierno de Javier Milei y ahora queda habilitado un destino de alto valor para la producción argentina.

🔹 El acuerdo apunta a ampliar las oportunidades para frigoríficos, productores y exportadores, en un mercado exigente y con fuerte poder de compra.

🔹 La clave será cuánto volumen logra colocar Argentina en Japón y en qué plazos: la apertura del mercado es una buena noticia, pero el impacto real dependerá de la competitividad, los precios y la capacidad exportadora del sector.
