@CrazyVibes_1 My dad is a WW II veteran. A few years ago he went on an Honor Flight to Washington DC for the day. What touched him the most was seeing the Vietnam veterans on the flight getting their long overdue recognition.

@GeorgeTakei Though it's gotten better in the last 25 years or so, in my experience, all you had to do to be completely ignored was to be a woman. One time, I had to go to a service desk and ask for a salesman. When they sent one over, he said, "Oh, I thought you were with that man." Nope!
