So, as of today, Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has lasted 1,336 days.
That’s:
85% of the duration of World War I,
61% of the duration of the entire World War II,
94% of the duration of the Soviet–Nazi war on the Eastern Front.
And still, the world's top nuclear power and one of the largest militaries ever -- has failed to defeat Ukraine or conquer it yet.
Since the Battle of Britain, never have the fates of so many depended so much on the heroism of so few -- the Ukrainian soldiers who, despite the unbearable weight and filth of this deranged world, keep doing the impossible every single day, with as little as what they have to fight with.
The heroic fight of Ukraine against Russia’s war of agression is about the existence of Ukraine as a nation. We in Finland understand what Ukraine is going through.
Ukraine is fighting not only for her independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, but also for European security, freedom and the rules-based world order. Ukraine and its democratically elected leaders deserve all our respect and support.
We will stand by Ukraine for as long as it takes.
@ZelenskyyUA
Ukrainan urhoollisessa puolustustaistelussa on kyse koko kansakunnan selviytymisestä. Suomalaisina me ymmärrämme tämän.
To all critics of Ukraine... and especially to those pro-Kremlin clowns from abroad who say that Ukraine is losing...
To all those who underestimate the heroism and valor of Ukrainians and Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers. I have a question. How long would your country last if Russia attacked it and you were not a member of NATO or any other military bloc?
Or how long would you last if your country gave up its nuclear weapons, as Ukraine did? And you would be left without such a deterrent as a nuclear shield. And on top of that, you have been disarmed for decades, threatened with an “iron curtain and total sanctions and isolation” if you do not, and given false promises and guarantees of territorial integrity and security that will be violated.
I have no doubt about the heroism and valor of other peoples and countries. My words are not about that at all.
I'm just trying to convey a message to those “smart” people who criticize the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But how long would you hold out against a country that is several times larger than you, 3 times larger in population. Which, unlike Ukraine, has not given up nuclear weapons. And which has been preparing for this war for many years. A lot can be said. Until you encounter this yourself.
We will always be grateful to our allies and NATO members for their support and help. I never denied that it was critically important. And without her the situation would have been much worse.
But Ukraine is fighting the enemy alone.
No country is fighting for us. And North Korea is already fighting for Russia... and the allied announcers, unfortunately, turned out to be much more decisive than the West and the entire democratic world.
And you need to understand the price that Ukrainians give for their freedom and independence.
What is happening now may be the beginning of a chain of conflicts and wars that will detonate in the coming years, one after another, throughout the planet.
And this is all for only one reason.
The world has failed to fully and uncompromisingly defend the right of democracy, freedom and civilization to exist in the face of Putin’s fascism, aggression and terror.
It turns out that you can kill tens of thousands of innocent people in broad daylight, attack sovereign states, seize other people's lands, take away people's homes, violate all international norms and laws, while remaining unpunished as a global player. Who continues to shake hands and smile at meetings. The country of which, despite thousands of war crimes, genocide and terror, continues to be a permanent member of the UN. With whom they continue to trade. And who has a bunch of puppets in governments around the world. Those who openly “flirt” with them, promote pro-Kremlin narratives, and the world does not react to them in any way.
Everyone looked very carefully at what the world community would oppose for aggression against Ukraine.
We watched as Russian troops razed cities, executed people en masse, carried out genocide, and disregarded universal morality.
We were waiting for an answer, a reaction from the world and actions.
But did Russia receive such a response from the entire Free World, which would be a lesson for all other tyrants, dictators, aggressors?
And now other similar countries have a question. Why can't I? China thinks why can’t I also resolve the issue with Taiwan in the same way.
We will also solve our problems with the help of force. Why are we worse? Putin can do it, but not us?
Other countries will say what right do you have to ban our nuclear program. Ukraine's third nuclear arsenal was taken away. There is a war in the country. Russia constantly blackmails the world with nuclear weapons, etc. Where were these guarantees and did they help?
But until the rest of the world understands. That you can’t stand on ceremony with evil , this chain will gain momentum.
1/11 If Norway were to donate half of what it has gained from russia's invasion of Ukraine to Ukraine, the country could win the war. What is Norway waiting for to save the day?
‼️Absolutely horrific news coming out about Poltava where russia just hit a hit an educational institution & a hospital with two ballistic missiles. There’s already 41 dead and 180 injured. There truly is no limit to russian evil. I seriously feel sick. #russiaisateroriststate
The architect of Project 2025 has a new book coming out where he outlines his plans in greater detail, and it just so happens that JD Vance is the author of the Forward, he wrote a glowing review, and urged people to buy it on Twitter last month. Story. https://t.co/oIJ46cc6gn
Once upon a time, the ancient Greeks created democracy, and since then it has been constantly fought for.
But in fact, Greeks and Ukrainians share not only values but also a long history.
Polish President Andrzej Duda with an excellent speech at Ukraine's Peace Summit in Switzerland.
“Russia, called the ‘prison of nations,’ is home to 200+ ethnic groups, most acquired through colonial methods.
Unlike European powers, Russia never decolonized and remains the world's largest colonial empire”

I would like to remind you... that Ukraine was forced to renounce not only nuclear weapons. And also from strategic aviation, etc. And some of them were disposed of, some were transferred to russia. And although this was formally a voluntary refusal.
All this was done under incredible pressure, and if Ukraine had not done this, it would have faced the fate of North Korea... with sanctions and absolute isolation. Instead, Ukraine was given false promises and guarantees of territorial integrity and inviolability. And now one of the guarantor countries has attacked Ukraine and is bombing its cities... and the other guarantor countries need to be reminded every day of their promises and ask for military assistance.
And the whole tragedy is that if Ukraine now had nuclear weapons, none of this would have happened. But now Ukrainians are paying with blood and their lives... with destroyed cities and destinies. Because they believed lies and hypocrisy... and now, some zombies and puppets who believed Russian propaganda also oppose aid to Ukraine and say “We don’t owe them anything... we don’t want our money to go to Ukraine.”
But none of these pro-Kremlin puppets will say why the Ukrainians, who have not attacked any of the countries... who live on their land, where their ancestors have always lived... who defend their homeland, their people and their lives. Why should they die just because your politicians played their games and ambitions, putting the lives of millions of people at stake. And now they pretend that nothing happened.

Ukrainians sitting in shock watching how everyone scrambles to respond to Iran while the same drones and missiles along with North Korea’s have been raining down on Ukrainian cities and towns for over 2 years. The response in Ukraine is countless conferences and discussions
