I’m nervous about calls for @JustinWelby to resign. What is needed is not a scalp but a wholesale change of culture in the church.

To build a safer church we need an end to deference, secrecy, tribalism, and bullying in the House of Bishops. Most local clergy understand this.

10 months ago the CofE Archbishops council disbanded the Independent Safeguarding Board. STILL Survivors have no available route to get their reviews done.
These were safeguarding reviews into safeguarding failures against the most senior bishops.
