In newsrooms, many times as a journalist you may not be able to do a story for reasons best known to the editors. As journalists, you can only fight for your story, but beyond that, you can't do much. But I believe every story, some day or the other, will somehow find its way out. A story I couldn’t publish a few years ago is out now...and is still as relevant as it was then.
Amid PharmEasy's rise, fall and "comeback", there is an untold story of an unusual financial transaction between the founder and one of its top investors, outside the captable. Only @theheadandtale with @pesojj https://t.co/UuD91qvfad
PharmEasy is debt-free. But the road here was anything but straightforward. Behind the milestone is a story of aggressive expansion, the high-stakes Thyrocare bet, founder cash-outs and an unusual financial connection involving one of its investors.

@barkhatrehan16 Before calling for the boycott of Hyphen, hope you checked with Modiji. Because who knows Hyphen may have been the secret behind his glowing skin. Backfire nah hoh jaye bas. We all love his skin.
PhonePe has emerged as the lowest bidder for IOCL's PoS terminal mandate. On the face of it, this is a significant win for the IPO-bound payments company. But the pricing behind the bid is what makes the deal particularly interesting. I explain the full details of the deal and the economics behind it.

Are we all supposed to rattofy #vandemmataram now? Is this becoming an exam to prove our citizenship?
If so, let's start with BJP, Godi media, opposition parties as the paper seems leaked. That leaves ordinary citizens time to prepare - we already have enough exams in our lives
It has been nearly a year since OpenAI launched @ChatGPT Go, its first affordable subscription plan, in India. Since then, @OpenAI has opened its first India office, expanded its local team, struck partnerships... and now claims 100 million weekly ChatGPT users in India.
The big question now is whether OpenAI can turn that massive user base into paying customers as the free subscription ends soon and competition from Anthropic and Google’s Gemini intensifies. @theheadandtale

You can ignore the sycophancy, the servility, the cheerleading tactics of the Godi media, but you cannot ignore their role as abusers, victimisers and stigmatizers of upright, courageous citizens and large sections of people to further the political interests of those in power.
@smitaprakash "Innovative and effective" - Thankfully you stopped there in your eulogies, and in your enthusiasm stopped from blurting out AI generated. Your clan can't afford to make any blunders now.
When 40% of graduates under 25 are unemployed, the limits of majoritarian distraction [by the Modi govt]have been reached - excellent piece by @SushantSin
As much as the outrage this incident evokes shld be the introspection in newsrooms. The day hi- profile anchors are confident of stepping out to report a story w/o fear of being attacked like this poor foot soldier is probably when we can say Indian media has re-found its centre.
@smitaprakash Don't know why this surprises you. We all need to be political, especially at a time when your institution has fashionably and cowardly turned unjournalistic.
Today's protests are proof that legacy media has completely lost genz. The lakhs of students who turned up were purely social media informed. NewsPinch, PeekTV, Molitics, independent journalists and youtubers are who we look to now. Bye bye chitra, anjana, aman, sushant, sudhir. Rest in hell. The new media is HERE.
I am really sorry, kids…I was so wrong to think this reel generation didn’t know or care about what’s happening to their country. I am so happy to be proven wrong.
You are truly the hope this great nation needs. So intelligent, thoughtful and respectful. No violence, no vandalism, no attempt to show strength through numbers…just the courage to stand up for what you believe in. Mad respect to every one of you who joined this protest.
Go, kids. Show them no amount of force, tear gas and brutal lathi charges can silence a generation that has found its voice.
