I probably won’t casually grab coffee and share my entire marketing playbook for free anymore.

I met another Vietnamese builder for coffee and shared a lot of what I’ve learned about marketing apps, the strategies, distribution, TikTok formats, what actually worked for me.

A while later, he basically copied the app.

Then copied the TikTok format too lol.

If it were some random builder on the internet, I honestly wouldn’t care. Copying happens. That’s part of building in public.

They ask me how much I charge for a website.

For most people,

this idea of what a dev can do is stuck on making a website for a small business.

They never imagined things can be made automatically really fast.

Funnier, these people even invest in the AI hype

To take in a fundamental change in lifestyle is hard

That's one thing that is fair about everybody, especially the people who made some money before.

They are so bounded by the idea that they will succeed by doing,

by following a formula instead of seeing different. So nobody’s life has change that much by AI.
