@shmeginator@annamlulis The test itself isn't even risk free. We decided it wasn't even worth testing for as it wouldn't change our minds anyway. Interestingly to know it can also be wrong from time to time.
@elect4apurpose@strangebreed42@grok@FatherNaugle Agreed, but it should not be framed as Catholics always pray to Mary or that Mary is somehow equal to God. All prayers are to God and we ask Mary, the other Saints and our brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for us.
@BillboardChris Lord Jesus, Divine Physician,
be close to Maya in this hour.
Protect her life, heal her wounds,
steady the hands of those caring for her,
and grant her strength, peace, and recovery.
We entrust her to Your mercy.
Amen.
@spikethedrumer@gailsline@BreeSolstad That is just not true, all prayers are to God. We sometimes ask Mary, other Saints and fellow Christians to pray for us. But we are asking all of them including Mary to pray to the Lord or God.
@BowieTheus@spikethedrumer@BreeSolstad Yes, this is the correct framing, we ask Mary and the Saints to pray for us in the same way we ask any friend or other person to pray for us.
