@bikeshopgirlcom In our city, there are way too many streets that cross bike lanes. Many of these could be dead ended and this would make bikes lanes safer but also limit cut through traffic of neighbourhood streets. Win-win.
Putting a mega highway through the Greenbelt is a lot harder when you see first-hand all of the plants, waters and wilidlife it would destroy. #stopthe413#onpoli
@DrMMercier@KingAndJames That slip lane has to go. Bring off ramp in at 90° to Main St with a set of lights. Bike lane can then be continuous and not have to cross 80 kph traffic. Drivers coming off the 403 need a clear sign that they are now on city streets and not the 408.
@JoeyColeman I'm all for this amendment but it has absolution nothing to do with the design speed of Main St (Hwy 408). That is 100% on @cityofhamilton.
@ddchen @VulnerableRoad Thanks. I'm ok with custom. I just want some idea if it will work with a toddler on board as well if this is going to replace 95% of our car trips year round. I think I'll book a test ride and bring seat and toddler with me to make the final decision. Thanks for the response!
