Dating back to medieval times, Carrick-on-Suir was one of seven walled towns in Tipperary, originally located on the northern banks of the River Suir. These days, the town straddles both sides of the river and only a few sections of the town walls remain, including the West Gate.

Went through hell last year trying to find a palliative care place for my mother @francurry700 @TippFM only choice in the end was a private nursing home. The stress on my mother and on our family was immense at a critical time in her care. St Brigid’s is needed. @ServicesSave
