@MisterCiv 1. Play action actually working from under center and the QB not just stopping immediately once the PA happens.
2. QBs actually sending guys in motion with hand signals or foot (was in 25)
3. More broken sacks/tackles (was way overpowered in 25 but then nerfed in 26)

Teams get multiple chances now to right the ship or just get hot for a playoff run.

Might be harder on the Wear and tear but definitely not harder overall

8-4 teams making the playoff is the real garbage take.

College football is special because it’s the one true sport where every game matters. We lose a little more of that with every playoff expansion.

We’ve already seen the effects of it. We had a #1 vs. #2 matchup in the Big Ten Championship, and it barely mattered because both teams were safely in either way.

College football is at its best when elite teams face real stakes every single week of the season.

At the end of the season the only games that really matter are the mediocre teams with 3-4 losses fighting to be cannon fodder. Thats gross.
