@AnthropicAI @AISecurityInst That still does not explain why the so-called flagship models from Anthropic and OpenAI—supposedly approaching AGI-level capabilities—were unable even to relax their safeguards enough to help Hugging Face analyse the incident.

LOL! Mistral launched a paid end-point and didn't choose to open-source their medium model, which has better metrics!

It's not worth paying for, given that GPT-4 blows it out of the water! MMLU is 83+ on GPT-4. FWIW, Claude 2 is also better, so if you are considering a GPT-4 alternative, consider them first.

You could start comparing price/performance curves to see what makes sense, but I recommend GPT-4, 3.5, and open-source fine-tunes.

One of the three will make perfect sense for your needs without looking elsewhere and worrying about another API.
