Happy 35th anniversary to Ukraine, a country I first visited when it was still part of the Soviet Union. In a single generation Ukraine has transformed itself into a symbol of bravery, resilience and independence. Ukrainians should be proud.
Today marks the 65th anniversary of the construction of the #BerlinWall.🧱
From 1961 until 1989, it symbolised the political separation of Germany and ultimately Europe.🚧

Forget football. Je weet niet wat je mist.
Is this the perfect V10 F1 car?!
Damon Hill reunited with his title-winning FW18 on the Goodwood Hill at #FOS 2026 and wasted no time in reaching the chequered flag. What a moment!
The irony of Trump calling FIFA to overturn
a red card for Balogun because he knows the U.S. can’t win without Balogun, who only qualifies for the U.S. team because of birthright citizenship, which Trump just tried to overturn.

More than 40 years ago, I arrived in Chicago in search of an idea. I was a young man looking for purpose, who believed deeply in America, was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, and wanted to be a part of something larger. The America I believed in was one where everyone has opportunity, everyone is seen, everyone belongs—because that was an America that had a place for me, too.
When Notre-Dame burned in 2019, the world stopped.
Today, Russia damages Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a monastery nearly 1,000 years old and older than Notre-Dame itself.
A thousand years of history deserves the same attention, the same sympathy, and the same protection.
