There are indeed many unknowns especially w.r.t. long covid (which we dont know much about). I am on the "lets be careful" team. But Eric here creates a story based on cherry-picking data.

@DrEricDing Everything is alarmingly normal here in Denmark, finally, only thing that is crazy is reading about how data is cherry-picked, distorted and weaponised by clueless foreign press and SoMe epidemiologists. DK has 32 covid patients in intensive care! What are your numbers?

It may change depending on future variants - but it is objectively *false* to state that Covid causes deaths to surge in DK right now.

@DrEricDing DK here: yes, they lifted the restrictions because (1) omicron and (2) strong vaccination protection in DK. Right on track with scientist expert group strategy Dec 2021 (https://t.co/zFILrsixZk) . Earlier, PM was called dictator and nazi for shutting down society-and now this :)

@DrEricDing News from Denmark here: *our* death numbers include many deaths from other causes, where the patients happened to have Covid as well (because many have it). So yes: many have omicron, and no: we are not dying from it, no excess mortality. Don't twist data to fit your agenda pls.
