Listen man, 1st of all, I'm still hyped about your game and when it DOES work, quite frankly it IS amazing. Gameplay/story/overall content-wise: best Borderlands Ever.

However, with that out of the way -HUGE caveat incoming- After 60-ish hours 'attempting' to play BL4, most of my time has been spent fighting constant CTD's and troubleshooting. I have not been able to get the game running stable for more than an hour or even just a few minutes at a time. I am literally in forums and threads with 100's of other people who're running the same specs as me, and battling the EXACT SAME issue.

For Context; My Rig:
CPU: AMD9800X3D, GPU: ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090, RAM: G.Skill 2x32 64GB 6000 CL30, Game Install Storage Device: WD_Black PCIe 5.0 M.2 NVMe 4TB

I doubt that consumer-grade 'Gamers' can get any more "Premium" than this.

I would love to finally just play your game minus the constant frustration and added twitter-verse bullshit.

I posted this prayer publicly with the very specific intent to provide some hope to a family that just witnessed their husband/ father/ son shot in cold blood, while he was still fighting for his life. Sadly he passed shortly after, may God rest his soul. There is only 1 obvious correct answer here. That is, if we take certain things at face-value and discount certain fringe scenarios.

1. We are thinking in terms of functional teams that will actually represent either aggressors or defenders, and we assume proper and proportionate intent and applied force. This means that whoever is on your team will defend you and deliberately target any and all opposing team members.

2. The Hunter is well trained and prepared. This includes weapon proficiency and enough ammo. Looks like he packing something like a lever-action Winchester Model 94. Depending on the caliber and the magazine, that should give him about 9-10 solid shits before reloading. Not the best weapon for this scenario, but still doable.

Given those presumptions the choice is clear:

Your Team: 10000 Rats + 1 Hunter

10000 is an obscenely large number. If those tiny little rabid fuckers all converge on the opposing team, they will keep all the large / small predators plenty busy for the Hunter to take each one out. One by one. Done.
