Remember that part in #Andor when all those reporters on Ghorman made it sound like the Ghormans were violent and the Empire HAD to send in soldiers to stop things from getting out of hand but in reality the soldiers WANTED things to get out of hand?
Yea, that was crazy huh?
#Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy praises Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy
"She has protected the show and protected me ... When we started challenging Kathy, Kathy just kept saying yes. 'Oh, I’m going to put the first scene in a brothel.' 'Okay.' 'I’m going to have them kill two cops.' 'Okay.' 'We want the production designer from Chernobyl.' 'Okay, good idea.'"
"She backed our play and got everything that we were doing. We’ve been through everything, she and I, on this— all the good and all the bad. There’s no show without her."
"For all the shit that she takes online, it’s just insane. This show exists because she forced it to happen. What a tough job she has, man."

Jesus this is bleak. First we get actors apologizing for expressing frustration after the election & now the Apprentice is going to be buried for what? Fear of retribution? This is alarming. We should be alarmed.
@slumskull @IGN And why do you assume non white/non male actors only got their role because of a DEI checklist? That makes it seem like you think POC’s inherently can’t act as well as white people.
I hate to… publicly mention Star Wars
& admittedly barely remember the prequels
But this ACOLYTE / Red Lightsaber controversy
Wasn’t the whole idea of saying ‘there haven’t been sith in’ (however long it was)
To show the blind arrogance of the Jedi as they JUST fought Maul?
@the_swapshop @Kungfuyay@ek_anderson Leia was a feminist icon in the 70s for being one of the first subversions of the “damsel in distress” trope in a major motion picture.
@Torgan616 Maybe I'm being selfish here but if these trailers truly distorted other fans' relationships with the material, thats on them. These trailers got me into SWTOR and I've made lasting friendships through that game.
These trailers did nothing but enhance my fandom.
Some of y’all in the quote tweets hate fun. Read Star Wars Infinities. It’s completely absurd and also really fun. If we’re being real, it’s the community surrounding this series that will be toxic.
