🚨 Jamie Carragher Slams Arsenal After Final Defeat to PSG
🗣️: "That might be the worst performance I've ever seen in a Champions League final. Honestly, Arsenal played like Getafe for 120 minutes. Ninety minutes of sitting deep, thirty more minutes of sitting even deeper.
I kept waiting for them to show some ambition, some courage, but the plan seemed obvious: survive, survive, survive and hope David Raya wins the penalty shootout.
This is the Champions League final, not a relegation battle. You can't spend two hours defending your own box and expect people to praise it as tactical genius.
Mikel Arteta got it completely wrong. PSG looked like they wanted to win the trophy; Arsenal looked like they were trying not to lose it. If your entire game plan is to get to penalties because you've got a good goalkeeper, you've already handed control of the final to the opposition.
For me, that's one of the poorest final performances this competition has ever seen."
This is an absolutely glorious edit of Rotterdam.
I’d clean forgotten Sid Cowans put one in the Bayern net in the 91st minute.
And now, at our glorious football club, the #AVFC dream is alive again.

@cw1873 Yeah cuz like hearts, arsenal were once 12 points clear but shit their knickers but yeah blame it on a pitch invasion while ur 2 goals down with 40 seconds left
@ArrGee79 Celtic players won’t run down the tunnel attacking Dunfermline players and then race away on their team bus to avoid any fall out. Hypothetically of course
@BlairMcNally1 hearts had a good season but only cuz celtic and rangers were so poor they had a chance of the league. If MON had been in charge instead of Nancy then Celtic would have won the league by 10 points or more. They can yap all they want about decisions, only 1 win in last 8 away
@EwanMacKenna How an Irish man can support rangers and Chelsea is beyond me. The 2 biggest anti irish clubs u can get. U shuda went to ibrox and stamford bridge in the 90s, u wouldnt have got the welcome u wanted
@FightHypocrisy1 Drunk and drugged up loyalists rioting behaviour last night was a disgrace but not unsurprising. That’s what you ment to say isn’t it?
@JamieBrysonLLB Drugged up and drunk loyalists go on a rampage at a sectarian hate filled march last night. That’s what u ment to say in ur 1st paragraph isn’t it?

@MichealMartinTD If there was an election coming up then you would be throwing money at it. O Leary is right. A do nothing govt with a do nothing Taoiseach.
