Joined @benln's remote co-working group this afternoon. Good vibes and great progress. Here's a sneak peak of our new persona view. Imagine talking a detailed representation of your customer at anytime.

I'm building a co-pilot for Product teams and insight management is the current focus. Check out the main insight hub below. All of these insights have been extracted from interview transcripts. #buildinpublic
Crazy busy day. Redesigning my personal site https://t.co/13BQNecWnB where my portfolio and musing will go. Now, building out file processing and embedding generation for #productmate. More soon.

ProductMate update - it's hard to illustrate the progress in a screenshot, but behind the scenes we're getting the assistant to write feedback and recommendations in JSON format. Which we can then display in a nice list.
I'll try and share a short video tomorrow. #buildinpublic
Whilst I made some solid progress. I did lose a lot of time debating technical design with Claude! Spending more time up front agreeing an approach may have worked better.
So it's Monday. My 48-hr hackathon / kick-starter wrapped up on Friday. Here's what I achieved:
1. Basic Next.js app with Auth
2. Dockerised DB and object store (Minio)
3. OpenAI wrapper using Langchain
4. Simple Chat Interface using Shadcn

5. An Assistant that is prompted to co-create User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and Epics with the user.
6. A Function that the Assistant will call to renders a preview of the User Story you're co-creating.
48-hr hack update - I'm working on updating preview artefact while the user and the assistant work through the creation of a user story. The results are massively inconsistent right now. #buildinpublic
48-hr hackathon update - progress has been extremely slow today as I've battled with Claude/Cursor whilst we build a slightly more complicated feature! I think it's time to strip it back and simplify. #buildinpublic
But I was convinced we just needed to tell the model what type of conversation to have and the key bits of information it needed to complete it's task. Claude soon got it and we're now making progress again!
48-hr hackathon update - A spent the last couple of hours wrestling with the idea of validating a users input, the back-and-fourth necessary to build a clear picture of what the user wants.
@adridder Totally agree. I wanted to start a new project but didn't know what. I was overwhelmed with ideas. But setting the "48 hour" deadline sharpened my focus!
48-hr hackathon update - 35 minutes later and we have a working wrapper of ChatGPT using LangChain, in a fully (if very basic) styled page. #BuildInPublic
Kicking off a new build with a 48 hour hackathon. For this project I'm experimenting with Claude and Cursor to speed up the build. One hour in and we have a working Next.js app with Auth and a basic layout. #BuildInPublic
