It is with great sadness the family of John Pilger announce he died yesterday 30 December 2023 in London aged 84. His journalism and documentaries were celebrated around the world, but to his family he was simply the most amazing and loved Dad, Grandad and partner. Rest In Peace.
Thank you @glasgowfilm@BFI and all of the cast including @claregrogan2 and @Jgs_x for tonight’s special screening of Gregory’s Girl. An amazing, funny and emotional evening wonderfully encapsulated in the Q&A. Just perfect!
Really emotional to see and hear some of the cast of Gregory’s Girl (Gregory, Susan, Andy, Carol, Billy & Charlie) chat so fondly of Bill Forsyth and his legacy for Scottish film @glasgowfilm tonight. Huge appreciation for @ScottishYT too 🎭 🏴 Standing ovation 👏😊

On summer evenings, I drive round residential areas on my motorbike revving as loudly as I can. I do this while sitting on the bike when it's stationary. And then I go down side streets as fast and as loudly as I can. People can hear my bike from miles away. Great.
The @theroyalparks is going to get someone killed - this is what the six-week closure of Cycleway 3 looks like in practice, and the road you’re expected to use instead. They’ve posted guards who say you can’t event dismount and push your bike down consultation hill pavement
