@FaBlake31 Yes,the same FID that literally came to the same conclusion as the international forensic audit firm. Did the PM appoint that firms official too. Your argument isn’t holding up that’s how egregious the IC have been not even you can’t defend them against someone you hate
@BigMeeish@cheftymoi@stevan_campbell We are talking about one institution-the IC ! At least he has confidence in our courts since he has gone there to see redress. It’s not helpful to conflate issue like this. The PM has no faith in one institution- the IC!
@BigMeeish@cheftymoi@stevan_campbell The greater question is does the PM have confidence in the IC. The obvious answer is NO. And apparently his experience with the IC made him wonder if this isn’t just another baseless allegation. So he is not necessarily, separating the man from the work but he just doubt the IC.
@maxtop123@mcewan_janiel What about the international Forensic Auditing Firm? Is it because of Who were appointed as its head? See what Im saying! They found nothing and they cost us almost $30m. So it’s not just the FID.
@maxtop123@mcewan_janiel But this is the same problem people have with the IC, I hear people saying it’s a political arm of the PNP orchestrated by Trevor Monroe to bring down JLP administration and we can’t honestly admit that their actions have proven otherwise.
@mcewan_janiel@Sean_Khan09 I’m sure had the PM have confidence in the IC, the response would have been different and maybe the minister would have been relieved of his responsibility. But when you hear the PM waiting to be briefed on the matter, it says a lot about how he feels about the IC.
@BigMeeish@cheftymoi@stevan_campbell Yes. He went on to separate the man from the work by saying what exactly he has confidence in. And reserved judgment in him as the man until he is briefed by both set of attorneys. That what I heard .
@BigMeeish@cheftymoi@stevan_campbell if you can’t tell the difference, …..lol.. is it that you are saying it’s no difference? Comprehension skills lacking bad.
@iamSGB@WelloJ397963@duanepongo You can’t even tell your children what to study imagine government that you spend all your time discrediting infront of them telling them don’t bother do law do building construction!
@duanepongo People will say government can’t tell them what to study. If you do a degree in law and the people them need carpenter and plumber.. what must they do? Are you not thinking? That’s the job that is available I can’t get a carpenter or electrician right now. Tiler .
@Jer23ome1@NationwideRadio Jamaica has money like Canada.. you have sense brother…. Canada can put its money where its mouth is .. Jamaica noh have scent!
@yaneekpage@Mekiedoll There’s a difference between proposal and initial contact, tell the gleaner to ask that. This is a policy of the US government not unique to Jamaica, even other carrbean countries are apart of this arrangement . This was an idea originated in the head of anyone in Jamaica!
@TheTerribleTout People have no problem with this at all. People have a problem, I believe, when the press appears to serves one set o governors but then as those governors are out of power it returns to be “watch dog’. It seems to me that they just want back the governors they served!
@djmillerJA THE INITIAL CONTACT RE THIS MATTER WAS MADE BY THE US NOT JAMAICAN DIPLOMAT OR DIPLOMATS/ GOVERNMENT FROM ANY OF THE COUNTRIES WHERE THIS ARRANGEMENT EXISTS! DUMB GULLIBLE REPORTERS FROM GLEANER SHOULD HAVE ASKED THAT! This is a us policy position!
@Mikkie_J I would have otherwise supported this call but I have no confidence in the IC, I think that they are politically corrupt! And they can choose to charge anyone to suit their political agenda! As they recommended and attempted to do to the PM over foolishness. So find him guilty.
@BertSamuels You can gwaan talk you rich! Thank God the Pm and this administration isn’t allowing their personal ego to make him ignore the consequences of rejecting the US government at this time. He is rich too and could take the stand that you take. have to kiss ass before you kick ass!
@suparank@djmillerJA I read it and I honestly didn’t believe it was as the Gleaner reported because that would crazy…and listening to the press briefing and explanation of what is the issue- was a confirmation of my skepticism of the Gleaner and a relief that the GOJ wasn’t loosing their mind.
@djmillerJA@yaneekpage So isn’t this everyone is saying too. They said what they said. In response to what you said. No one expects you to turn against the hand that feeds you. They see you and the gleaner as one and the same.
@suparank@djmillerJA So why add a “debatable” number, In you headline ? The fact is that many folks were shocked and questioned the wisdom of the government decision.. only to find out that they had been angry because of a misleading headline. And you say that they are taking away from the issue.
