What is the threshold where incomprehensibility meets irrationality or unreasonableness. The sun analogy doesn’t match the traditional doctrine of the Trinity.
light and heat are not persons, they are impersonal effects or energies that proceed from the sun. This can make the Son and Spirit seem more like powers or attributes of God than distinct persons.
The light and heat come from the sun and depend on it for their existence. This makes the Son and Spirit appear less fundamental than the Father, rather than fully sharing the same divine nature. It also resembles modalism
One thing (the sun) expressing itself in different ways (light and heat), or
The Son and Spirit being emanations from God. What’s most important in trying to define, understand, and believe the Trinity is all based on the Bible. If that’s the case, it’s no where to be found. The Bible demonstrates monotheism in the truest sense. One God, the Father.
@MinisterMartyr If the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are truly distinct persons, then they appear to require distinct centers of consciousness and knowledge, which seems difficult to reconcile with the claim that there is only one divine being and one divine mind.
@MinisterMartyr To believe is to accept something as true, which the Bible mentions that gods do exist, to worship means to give reverence, honor, we give reverence and worship to Jehovah only as creator, almighty God. No one else. Do you worship the three distinct persons of the Trinity?
