Every single morning since January Tophister Ong'ango writes to me to ask for my help. She is stranded in India with her daughter Rachael Blessings. They went to India with the knowledge that @nhifkenya would be covering Rachael's treatment but later on, after her treatment had already started, she was informed NHIF won’t pay. Rachael was to have a bone marrow transplant as she has sickle cell anaemia. The hospital kicked them out, and she is been hosted by an apartment owner. The owner has taken both their passports as surety to ensure he gets paid for food and accommodation.

Her child is in critical condition. She has tried going to the Kenyan Embassy in India but she has not received any assistance.
