I just think it's a disgrace that this production of Great Expectations means that all previous film and TV adaptations have been erased, and that the words in each and every copy of the novel have been lost to us forever. If even only one other version had survived. Tragic.

This is a tough one. I adore Judi Dench, but it’s got to be Bernard Lee - the one I grew up on. Fiennes has also really made the role his own in such a short time - I just LOVE that ending from “Skyfall”!

@R0B0_G0D @teh_goat @WhoHats You can’t be serious! Seeds of Doom is an utter classic—Harrison Chase is one of the best villains, and making it essentially as a 2-parter followed by a 4-parter completely broke up the monotony.

Incidentally, I also really like Meglos—but I know that’s a controversial opinion.

@JankoJerinic @jordanbpeterson Did you even read the tweet @jordanbpeterson posted? @DrJessTaylor says young girls need “the strong counternarrative”. Of course young women AND men have the right to make their own choices—but setting them up for a life of loneliness because it promotes an agenda is despicable.
