Another year of Week Without Walls was a huge success! Students in Div. 5, 12, & 13 spent 100% of their week learning outside! Students spent the week exploring the 4 elements and had the chance to garden, walk to the dyke, and even try some outdoor cooking!
Students in Div.5, 12 & 13 had a chance to visit Cherry Blossom Lane and look closely at the cherry blossoms that have been blooming around our school! @petitsgriffons

Curiosities grew when Ss were visited by a spider in the garden. We wondered “how do spiders shoot out webs?” “where do they get les couleurs?” we investigated these questions in our spider inquiry @gilmoregriffins#sd38learn
We took advantage of a sunny break to explore what happens when chalk and puddles become friends, inspired by the book “Chalk”! “It’s turning the puddle into space colours” “I made a rainbow because maybe we will see one.” @gilmoregriffins@petitsgriffons#sd38learn
Today, Div 12/13 students adopted their class trees. We will document our trees over the year. What gifts do the trees bring? What will they teach us? @gilmoregriffins
